Educated at premier educational institutions in the United Kingdom and the Unites States of America, and having more than four decades of legal practice experience across diverse industries and sectors globally encompassing M&A, corporate, project finance, banking, insurance, telecommunications, taxation, pharmaceuticals, maritime, oil and gas, energy, infrastructure projects and inheritance related matters, Ahsan utilises his extensive knowledge to complement his expertise as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators to devise and implement expeditious and cost-effective dispute resolution methodologies.

Unique Fee Arrangement

By leaving it to the parties to decide his fee in ad hoc appointments, Ahsan ensures that all disputants, are able to avail his expertise. For institutional arbitrations, he insists upon the minimum institutional fees allowed, in order to ensure that arbitration remains cost-effective for all parties.

Geographic Location and Time Neutrality

Through effective utilisation of audio-visual telecommunication technologies, Ahsan ensures that irrespective of the physical location of the parties, their representatives, witnesses and experts, and the time zones in which they may be located, the entire arbitral process is undertaken without the need for the parties, their representatives, witnesses and experts to leave their locales.
